When you connect your YouTube channel, we access your channel credentials through Google's OAuth system. We also collect usage data about how you interact with the Clipsly platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve the Clipsly service, process payments, publish videos to your connected YouTube channel, send service-related communications, and respond to your support requests. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

Clipsly integrates with YouTube via the YouTube Data API. By connecting your channel, you agree to YouTube's Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy. We use Stripe for payment processing and standard cloud infrastructure providers for hosting. All third parties are contractually required to protect your data.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is retained for 30 days and then deleted, unless legal obligations require longer retention. Generated video content is not retained by Clipsly after successful publishing.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You may disconnect your YouTube channel from Clipsly at any time through your account settings. To request data deletion or a copy of your data, contact us at support@clipsly.org.

6. Security

We use industry-standard encryption and security practices to protect your data. Your YouTube credentials are stored using OAuth tokens, not plain-text passwords. We regularly review and update our security practices.
